Scotty Cameron Patron Tequila Newport 2 Select Putter and Headcovers, Agave Man

  

This extremely rare putter is a first-generation Newport 2 Select that Scotty created for a special event hosted by Patron Tequila. Finish is original, but the paintfill has been changed from black to translucent green. The Cameron Gallery in Encinitas replaced the grip with a lime Pistolero and checked the loft and lie angles in 2020.

It has not seen a ball since. Perhaps the most notable features of this putter are the flange that's perfectly flat to accommodate the large Patron bee logo, and the amazing milling marks throughout the cavity. The sole is ghost taped for gaming. I tried to capture some faint brush marks and a tiny ding or two on the toe. They're so small that my camera had a hard time picking them up, and they're impossible to see from address. Because these are the original weights, I believe the original length was most likely 35. I do not know the exact headweight, but it would be easy to customize by installing new weights. It's also good to know that Scotty's Custom Shop will still refresh the honey-dipped finish if it ever needs it. The putter will come with its original headcover and a limited Cameron Agave Man cover from 2017 that has never been on the course. Happy to provide additional photos.
