This bottle is from Maestro Dobel Atelier's 2024 "Animales Endémicos" limited-edition collection, created to celebrate Mexico's biodiversity. The collection featured six designs inspired by species native to Mexico, including the Monarch Butterfly (Mariposa Monarca) shown on this bottle. Each Atelier bottle was individually hand-painted by Oaxacan artisans, using decorative techniques inspired by traditional Mexican alebrije craftsmanship.
The bottom of this bottle is hand-signed Michelle Santiago. The bottle features a striking black background with hand-painted orange, white, green and red detailing surrounding the large monarch butterfly. The original presentation box features a coordinating butterfly motif.
Originally produced as the presentation bottle for Maestro Dobel Atelier Extra Añejo Tequila, aged for more than three years in American and European oak barrels. Please review all photographs for exact condition.
