Epiphyllium Orchid Cactus, TEQUILA SUNRISE 10 Specimen Plant

  
THIS SPECIMEN PLANT IS AMAZING. It is blooming with so many more buds still to open! It is very large, busting out of the pot, or so it seems. I've been growing Epiphyllium, Orchid cactus, for many years. The leaves are green all year, and suddenly. Sprout these fabulous large flowers whose color permiates their area of growth. Okay, about growing these opulent flowers; they are VERY easy to grow. I put on a slow release fertilizer twice a year and when I do a foliar spray in my garden they get the benefit of that also.

They probably need sun to bloom and can take a lot of sun, too. Orchid cactus like to be dry before watering. With their rapid growth and root structure they will need a larger volume as they grow larger.
