Don Julio 1942 Tequila 60th Anniversary Bottle & Gift Box Mexico Release Empty

  

This empty Don Julio 1942 liquor bottle is a rare must-have for any collector. This is both the original bottle offered when 1942 was launched in 2002, as well as the original paper gift box packaging offered before it went to the wood coffin box. The bottle was designed to mimic an agave plant leaf and those cues carry onto the box.

It has the 60th anniversary acknowledgement printed on the inside box cover, which is printed in 100% Spanish, and on the back of the box (in English) but that area is scuffed (see pic). It has the original Mexico production & inspection sticker on the empty bottle (lower front right). It is a used and empty bottle, and it has not been cleaned inside.

It is a great display piece on a bar, or would make an excellent decanter once the inside is cleaned. Please view all photos as they also serve as the listing description.
