This dark fantasy fable concerns a young Aztec boy whose search for a way to defeat the conquering Spanish forces near his village takes him into a mystical labyrinth and face to face with the gods. Full black leather binding, with an embossed boa snakeskin design, a handmade arrowhead inset on the front, bronze titles, marbled endpapers, and a ribbon marker. A fine copy, housed in a matching embossed black leather clamshell box with a handmade arrowhead inset on the lid.
